Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced this Saturday that the first phase of the international competition for the 3 new stadiums in Durrës, Vlora, Korçë has been closed, where 41 studios submitted 86 applications. 

According to Rama, the nine finalists have emerged who will compete in the three early-May competitions in the respective cities. 

"Good morning, and with the satisfaction of the successful completion of the first phase of the international competition for the 3 new stadiums in Durrës, Vlorë, Korçë, where out of 86 applications from 41 studios (the studios have applied as they wish for 1, 2 or 3 finals), among to which a significant part with high prestige in the contemporary scene of architecture, the nine finalists have emerged who will compete in the three competitions in the beginning of May in the respective cities, I wish you a good weekend", wrote the Prime Minister.
