Nine Women Condemned with Trial Service after Joined Husbands in Syria to Fight for ISIS

Nine Albanian women were condemned with seven years of jail by the Special Prosecution against corruption (SPAK), for joining their men in Syria during fight for the Islamic State. 

The sentence was converted to five years of trial service for all the women. 

The judge, Rudina Palloj accepted the request of the prosecutor to declared guilty the women.

During 2013-2014, the nine women left Albania to travel to Syria to follow their husbands, who went to fight alongside Al Nusra and then for ISIS. From SPAK's investigations, it has emerged that all the defendants voluntarily joined two terrorist organizations in Syria.
