Another associate has helped the special prosecutor's office unravel several criminal events that have shocked the country in recent years. 

Erion Alibej, arrested as the orderer for at least 2 murders in the city of Elbasan, has officially acquired the status of an associate of justice in the file where Nuredin Dumani, the person who also received orders from Alibej to carry out executions, is included.

It is learned that Alibej has shown details about some criminal events that happened in Albania, helping the investigators to identify the orderers and executors. On the other hand, the special prosecutor's office has withdrawn several files from the district prosecutor's offices, while the investigators have started taking the testimonies of the persons mentioned in at least two criminal events.

The Special Prosecutor's Office has completed the investigations for the "golden bullet" file, where after the testimony of Nuredin Dumani, 18 criminal events were revealed and 20 people were charged. Some associates of justice are part of the file, including Nuredin Dumani, Skerdi Tase and Erion Alibej.

Earlier, Henrik Hoxhaj and Klevis Alla also cooperated with SPAK, but some of their testimonies turned out to be incorrect and for this reason they lost their status as collaborators. Erion Alibej ended up in handcuffs in September 2020. He is accused of being the organizer and mastermind for the elimination of Emiljano Ramazani and Regis Runaj. The investigations showed that the murders were carried out by order of Alibej as a sign of revenge for the execution of his brother Endrit Alibeaj in December 2018.
