In Albania only the citizens of Durresi and Elbasan can vote electronically in the upcoming Parliamentary elections 2025.

The head of the Central Elections Commission (CEC), Ilirjan Celibashi, said that it is impossible that this process to be realized in five districts as it was thought before. 

According to Celibashi, there is no time anymore. Preparation for these processes needs much time.

He also said that the possible elections date can be chosen from April 20, 2025 to May 11.
