Albanian Prime Minister and Socialist Party leader Edi Rama is expected to meet with the Socialist parliamentary group and members of his government on Thursday, September 3, following a series of meetings with ministers and the party’s political leaders.

According to reports, the meeting is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. at the Palace of Brigades in Tirana.

One of the issues expected to be discussed is “Praninë Besnike”, according to information about the upcoming meeting.

The notice was sent to members of parliament by Taulant Balla, head of the Socialist parliamentary group, as the party and government enter the new political season.

The meeting follows a gathering Rama held in Sauk on Friday with government ministers and the Socialist Party’s political leaders in Albania’s regions.

During that meeting, Rama reportedly instructed party and government officials to focus on the “Pasqyrë Albania” platform, a new government initiative designed to collect, process and track citizens’ complaints and requests addressed to the public administration in real time.

The September 3 meeting is expected to set the tone for the government and the Socialist parliamentary group as political activity resumes following the summer break.
