Prime Minister Edi Rama has published the picture from the Buna Bridge project this Tuesday morning, writing that the new bridge will give a boost to tourism and the cross-border economy. 

Agreement for this project, which will connect Velipoja with Ulcinj, was signed yesterday at the meeting between the Albanian and Montenegrin governments in Podgorica. 

"GOOD MORNING and with the "Bridge over Bun" project, a project ready for implementation by the Albanian Development Fund, which will be co-financed by the two governments, to connect our countries by shortening the distance between Velipoja and Ulcinj from 73km to 300m , as well as giving a new impetus to the freedom of movement, tourism and cross-border economy, I wish you a beautiful day", wrote PM Rama. 

However, the distance between Velipoja and Ulcinj will be shortened from 73 km to less than 1 km. 

Decision to build this bridge was one of the agreements that the Albanian and Montenegrin governments signed in the second joint meeting. The project will be financed by both governments.
