The head of state Ilir Meta received in a meeting this Friday in the presidency the former British MP Timothy Grogan. 

Meta shared a photo with Grogan as he wrote that he thanked him for the great support he gives to the Albanian community in Great Britain and the support for Albania. 

"I am happy to receive today an excellent friend of our country, the former British MP, Mr. John Timothy Grogan, who is visiting Tirana in the framework of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Albania and Great Britain. I thanked him for the great support he gives to our community there, as well as for the unstinting support given continuously to Albania by Great Britain", writes the president.
