President of the Repubic, Ilir Meta has shared a video of Albanian famous artist, Timo Flloko interpreting the famous verses "Anes Lumenjve" (By the side of the River).

President Meta has chosen to bring back these famous verses written by great scholar Fan Noli, on the occassion of International Day of Poetry. Meanwhile, the President gavo also a message, saying that these verses have a great force whenever there is injustice in the country.

"'Anes Lumenjve', one of the most accomplished creations of Fan Noli, is undoubtedly one of the most popular and beloved poems for every honest Albanian and patriot of every era. 

The explosive momentum of these verses rumbles with extraordinary force whenever tyranny, violence, oppression, injustice and anti-national acts become unbearable and revolting for the whole people, 'from Shkodra to Vlora'. 

On the occasion of World Poetry Day, I bring back today some of the verses of this poetry, masterfully interpreted by our great artist Timo Flloko," wrote Meta.
