Albania’s RENEA special police unit, together with the Korçë Regional Police Directorate, has carried out a search operation in the city of Korçë for a man wanted in connection with a murder conviction.

According to police information, authorities had received a tip that the man, who has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for murder, could be hiding inside an apartment building in the city.

Police conducted searches at the location but were unable to find him.

Authorities are expected to continue the search operation in the coming days, with the aim of locating and arresting the wanted man.
