Rudina Hajdari Won't Run in May 22 Race for DP Chair
Former MP Rudina Hajdari has expressed her ambition to run as chairwoman of the Democratic Party (DP) but not right now.
Hajdari emphasized that at the moment it is not the right moment to be chair, implying that she will not run in the May 22 elections.
Regarding the candidacy of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Hajdari says that it is not the best solution for the future of the Democratic Party, even adding that his cycle is over.
"I can not hide the fact that I had ambitions to move forward in the DP. I do not think that now is the time to be the chairwoman of the Democratic Party. In the future I would see it as an option, it will happen naturally. I see myself today as a member of the National Council," declared Hajdari.
