Two Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison for Attempted Murder in Revenge, Following Fier Prosecution's Request

The defendants V.D., alias L, and A.G. were found guilty and sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment each for the criminal offenses of attempted 'Premeditated murder,' committed in complicity, and ‘Manufacture and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition,' as provided for in Articles 78/2, 22, 25, and 278/1 of the Criminal Code, following the request of Fier Prosecution Office.

Concluding the investigations into criminal case no. 1795 of 2019, the prosecution established that the defendant V.D., alias L., intending to revenge for the murder of his brother G.L., conspired with defendant A.G. to execute the murder of citizen A.H. In furtherance of this plan, on December 30, 2019, at approximately 17:50, in the area known as 'Dukas-Breg,' Patos, defendant A.G., having verified the identity of the target, approached and discharged three rounds from a firearm towards him. As a result of the attack, citizen A.H. sustained injuries, specifically a gunshot wound to the left arm
