Skrapar, Two Arrested as Cannabis Found in Their House

Skrapar police have cracked down on a case of cultivation, production and sale of narcotic plants, by arresting two citizens and seizing 16 kg of cannabis. 

In the framework of the police operation codenamed "Rehova", the Police handcuffed citizens with initials V.H, 35 years old and S.B, 31 years old, both residents of Rehova village of Skrapar. 

"Following the work to crack down on criminal activity in the field of narcotics and based on a two-month investigation followed by special methods, the services of the Skrapar Police Station in cooperation with the Berat Judicial District Prosecutor's Office conducted an anti-drug operation codenamed 'Rehova', in the framework of which citizens V.H, 35 years old and S.B, 31 years old, both residents of Rehova, Skraprar, were arrested in flagrante delicto. 

During the control in the house of the citizen V.H, 16 kg of processed narcotic substance cannabis sativa were found and seized as material evidence. 

These citizens were also declared wanted previously by the police, as they are suspected to be the perpetrators of the narcotic plant cannabis sativa previously found near their homes. 

The materials were submitted to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance Berat, for the criminal offense 'Production and sale of narcotics' and 'Cultivation of narcotic plants', committed in collaboration," Police informed.
