Snow has engulfed Dibra and Korca districts this Saturday, as low temperatures returned this weekend after many days with heavy rain. 

Local media reports that in both these districts the first problems with the blocking of the roads have started. Thus, in Korça, the Shtylle-Panarit road is blocked. While in the mountainous areas of Dibra it is reported for lack of electricity in some villages. 

Korca

The region of Korça has been covered since the first hours of this morning by the heavy snowfall. 

Although contractors are on track for cleaning and salting, rainfall continues in some areas accompanied by wind. 

Traffic is recommended with chains in "Qafa e Qarrit", "Dardhe road", "Voskopoje" roads for small vehicles. Meanwhile, the rural road Shtylle-Panarit continues to be blocked. 

Diber

The entire Dibër Region has been covered by snowfall since this Saturday morning. The snow is accompanied by strong winds, creating some problems. 

Although the thickness of the snow is still not great, the first problems have started in the mountainous areas. Some villages in Dibër and Bulqiza are without electricity due to damage to the transmission network.
