Citizens of Kurbin Municipality have voted in favor of Socialist Party (SP), Majlinda Cara's favor in the local elections of May 14.

Central Elections Commission's (CEC) results showed that Cara won with 11,381 votes, or 51.22%.

On the other hand, "Together We Win" coalition's candidate, Behar Haxhiu received 10,840 votes or 48.78%.

In Kurbin area, a total of 74 ballot boxes were counted.
