The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, held a meeting on Friday with representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Food Authority, and the National Economic Council, where the development and programming of the meat processing sectors in Albania were discussed.

The meeting focused on drafting a support program for Albanian entrepreneurship, in the framework of preparation for integration into the European Union. In this context, the standards required by the EU market and the measures that need to be taken to help Albanian businesses were analyzed.

Ibrahimaj also highlighted the work on the new draft law “On Made in Albania products”, which aims to promote domestic production and strengthen the position of Albanian products in the market.

“This is a key moment to cooperate more closely with business, so that the Albanian manufacturing sector prepares for the opportunities that integration into the European Union brings,” the minister declared.
