Three brothers are wanted by Tirana police after allegedly placing an explosive device at the entrance of a 72-year-old man’s home in the Tufinë area, authorities said.

The incident occurred at around 12:30 a.m. at the residence of a man identified by the initials J. M. No injuries were reported in the explosion, although minor property damage was recorded.

Following an investigation at the scene, police identified three brothers as suspects: E. A., 39; A. A., 43; and M. A., 41, according to authorities. Police said all three have previous criminal records.

Investigators suspect the brothers placed and subsequently detonated the explosive device at the entrance to the 72-year-old’s home over what authorities described as a minor dispute.

The three suspects remain at large as police continue efforts to locate and apprehend them. The investigation into the circumstances and motive behind the incident is ongoing.
