UN Resolution on Russian Aggression, Four Countries Vote against
The UN General Assembly has voted in favor of a resolution condemning Russia's occupation and calls on it to immediately withdraw all its forces from Ukraine.
The resolution was supported by 141 of the 193 members of the body in a rare emergency session of the General Assembly convened by the UN Security Council. Four countries have chosen to vote against this resolution by coming out openly in support of Russia. Meanwhile, 34 countries have chosen to abstain. There were no surprises in their ranks as they are all countries with almost non-existent democracy.
