Vangjel Tavo is the candidate of the Socialist Party for Mayor of Himara.

The decision was taken this Monday during the meeting of the Socialist Party leadership. 

Tavo will run for the elections set to be developed on August 4.

The elected mayor, Fredi Beleri lost his mandate just few days ago during the meeting of the Central Elections Commission (CEC).

He was condemned with two years of jail on vote buying charges.
