Ervin Selita, 30 years old, who was arrested by the police at Wednesday noon after he tried to kill the owner of a hotel in Tirana with a firearm, is the rapper known as Vinz, the Albaniandailynews.com has learned Thursday.

The young man from Burrel lives in UK and has recently returned to Tirana for a few days. He went to the hotel with a 26-year-old girl and at that moment the receptionist asked him to renew his ID card.

At that moment, the owners of the hotel were involved in the debate and Selita pulled out her weapon, shooting in the direction of Zeni Xhindi, but fortunately no one was injured.

Ervin Selita has previous criminal records as he was arrested earlier, about two years ago.

The cause of the escalation of the quarrel in the hotel in Tirana, which caused one of the clients to draw his firearm, trying to kill one of the owners of the hotel, was the debate over an identity card.

Sources informed that Ervin Selita was accompanied by a girl trying to enter the hotel, and at the moment of appearing at the reception, the employee asked her to renew her ID card.

This has led to debate between the parties involving business owners. At that moment Selita pulled out her firearm and tried to kill one of them.

The friends of the 30-year-old who hid the weapon after the event were also declared wanted.
