Young Girl Accuses Democrat MP of Burning Her Car

Deizi Arapi, the 27-year-old girl whose car burned down on Saturday evening, appealed to the state for help, because she feels worried for her life.

She says that this is the second time that her car has been burned and claims that the incident is related to a conflict she had with the former mayor of Bilishti, Bledion Nallbati, currently an MP of the Democratic Party.

'"My life is in danger. I am asking the state for help as this is the second time this has happened to me and it is related to an old conflict. 4 years ago my mother was unfairly fired from her job as a cleaner and I had a conflict with the former mayor Bledion Nallbati (currently a member of parliament). After the conflict, they burned my first car. I was followed all day yesterday by a person with whom I exchanged words last night. He is an employee of the gas station owned by Bledion Nallbati. A gasoline can from this fuel was found at the scene, just like last time. The police considered the burning of the first car to be accidental, but the incident is happening again. If no action is taken it is no wonder that I end up dead", declared Arapi.

Deizi Arapi was arrested a month ago after she had a conflict with police officers during her escort to the Police Station following residents' complaints about disturbing the public peace. The 27-year-old, together with her sister, Xhesika Arapi, were escorted to the police station on August 23, after shouting through the city during the night while traveling in their car.

When the police arrived to escort them, the sisters did not spare the banal vocabulary of the blue uniforms. In 2018, Deizi Arapi's "Smart" car was burned. Investigations at the time indicated that the burning of the vehicle could have been done for revenge between the girls.
