Zielinski Reacts after Attack on 'Holocaust Memorial': History Repeating Itself
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted immediately after the rocket attack on television towers in Kiev, near a Holocaust memorial, where 5 victims and some injured have already been confirmed.
In his reaction on social media, Zelensky what is the point of continuing to remain silent at a time when people are still being killed, and moreover that the attack took place right on the memorial where for 80 years stood the inscription 'Never again', which was a symbol to commemorate the victims of Nazism.
"For the world: what does it mean to say "never again" for 80 years, if the world is silent when a bomb falls on the same place of Babyn Yar? At least 5 killed. History is repeating itself," Zelenzy wrote.
The Babyn Yar area is a memorial site built on Europe's largest mass grave of the Holocaust, where Nazi crews killed more than 33,000 Jews in the space of just two days in 1941.
