Four people have been handcuffed by the Saranda police and another has been declared wanted on charges of trafficking and cultivating narcotics.

The police inform that the arrested are Dashnor Alushaj (known by the name Papi), Gramoz Breshanaj, 34 years old, resident in the village of Vrinë, Saranda, Ermir Indrisllari, 30 years old and Esmeraldo Alushaj, 19 years old, resident in the village of Vrinë, Saranda.

Meanwhile, within the operation codenamed "Five", a citizen with the initials A.A, 30 years old in the village of Vrinë, Saranda was declared wanted..

These citizens are suspected that in cooperation with each other, in the territory of the village Vrinë, municipality Konispol, Saranda, have cultivated suspected narcotic plants cannabis sativa, which were destroyed by burning during the police operation.

Following the uninterrupted controls throughout the Vlora region, in implementation of the plan of measures to prevent the identification and crackdown on criminal activity in the field of narcotics, after a month-long investigation, under the direction of the Saranda Judicial District Prosecutor's Office, by the Saranda Police Commissariat , in cooperation with the structures of Vlora, the police operation codenamed "Five" was finalized, in the framework of which the citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

-Dashnor Alushaj (known as Papi), 62 years old, resident of Saranda, previously convicted for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants";

-Gramoz Breshanaj, 34 years old, resident of Vrinë village, Saranda;

-Ermir Indrisllari, 30 years old, resident of the village of Vrinë, Saranda, previously convicted for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants";

-Esmeraldo Alushaj, 19 years old, resident in the village of Vrinë, Saranda.

These citizens are suspected that in cooperation with each other, in the territory of the village Vrinë, municipality Konispol, Saranda, have cultivated suspected narcotic plants cannabis sativa, which were destroyed during the police operation.

Also, from the entirety of the procedural actions and the seized material evidence, it is suspected that the citizen Dashnor Alushaj is the organizer and financier of this illegal activity.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance Saranda, for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in collaboration.
