The Ministry of Economy and Innovation opens on August 27 the call for applications for 300 zero-interest loans, dedicated to public administration employees for the purchase of a home. Applications will remain open until September 25, 2026.

The program provides for financing the purchase of a home according to the reference price, while the surface area of ??the home is determined in accordance with the family certificate.

The loan is offered at zero percent interest, aiming to facilitate access to housing for public administration employees who meet the conditions set by the legislation on social housing.

A total of 300 quotas are available within the framework of this call, divided into five institutions and structures.

The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare has 70 quotas, the Ministry of Defense has 70 quotas, the Ministry of Education has 70 quotas, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has 70 quotas, while the Prison Police/Ministry of Justice has 20 quotas.

To benefit from this scheme, the applicant must be employed in the public administration, according to the provisions of the law “On social housing”. Also, he/she must not have a dwelling in ownership or in the process of legalization, except in the case when the existing dwelling is below the housing standards.

Another criterion is that the applicant must not own real estate or movable property worth more than half the value of the dwelling he/she intends to purchase through the facilitated loan. Beneficiaries must also not be part of other social housing programs.
