1050 People Can Entry Greece in One Day from Albania

Greece police informed on Saturday that starting from Sunday, August 16, only 750 people per day will be allowed to enter this country from Kakavija border-crossing and only 300 from Kapshtica border crossing with Albania.

"According to the decision of the Greek government, the holders of the Greek passport, the Special Homogeneous Identity Card and the residence permit, the persons who have their main residence in Greece and all those who enter after obtaining the relevant permit for needs are exempted from the restrictions professional absolutely necessary. Entry of the above persons from the border points of Kakavija, which is allowed to enter 750 people per day, and Kapshtica which is allowed to pass 300 people per day, from 07:00 to 23:00, or by plane (flight Tirana - Athens) ", it is said in the announcement of the Embassy.

"According to the decision, from Sunday 16.08.2020 at 00:01 until 31.08.2020 at 23:59, all those who entered Greece are subject to a 7-day quarantine from their arrival (excluding truck drivers)", emphasizes the Greek Embassy.

"Persons who violate the quarantine measure, in addition to the criminal sanctions provided, are punished with a fine in the amount of 5,000 euros", the announcement continues.

From August 17 to August 31, all those entering Greece must submit a negative test for COVID-19 (by PCR method), which must be performed up to 72 hours before arrival at the border crossing point, from public or private laboratories certified in Albania, (does not apply to truck drivers transporting goods and children born from 2011 onwards).
