11 Drivers Punished by Traffic Police in Levan-Vlorë Road

As part of road safety, the Traffic Police has handcuffed 11 drivers and revoked 39 driving licenses this Saturday.

According to the police, the speeds on the road vary from 130km / h to 192 km / h on the interurban road Levan-Vlora, endangering the safety on this axis.

“Follow the traffic rules to reach safe destinations with a pocket license. Do not fly on the road to reach the sea as soon as possible, because in the best case you will reach the radar and the traffic police, in the worst case the accident.

On every road axis across the country there are Traffic Police patrols for one purpose: life safety. Do not drive at speeds that endanger the safety of life on the road, do not drive under the influence of alcohol or while intoxicated, do not overtake, do not use the mobile phone while driving, stand in line where there is a slowdown, as the flow of vehicles towards coastal areas and vice versa is very high.

During the last 24 hours, 11 drivers of vehicles were arrested in flagrante delicto, of which 7 for driving without a driving license and 4 for driving while intoxicated.

39 driving licenses have been suspended, of which 22 for speeding and 17 for driving under the influence of alcohol or while intoxicated.

As a result of intensive checks and denunciations addressed to the Digital Commissariat and the number 112, 1762 drivers were punished with administrative measures, throughout the country, for violations that bring consequences to the life and health of road users.

The Traffic Police appeals to all drivers:

Do not rush, do not overtake, do not drive under the influence of alcohol or while intoxicated, wear seat belts and helmets, do not use the mobile phone while driving, stand in line when the movement is slow due to the flow top of vehicles, follow the rules of the road, to reach safe destinations with a pocket in the pocket.
