Persons detained during the operation 'Rrjeta' for trafficking and distribution of narcotics, appear this Sunday in front of the court of Elbasan. 

Elbasan's Prosecution has submitted the request for setting the security measure against 45 persons detained on June 29 thanks to the coded operation "Network". 

45 people were arrested and 7 others were declared wanted, while 5 others were arrested in the act. 

As a result of the operation, various types of drugs, an automatic machine and military ammunition, 51 million ALL, 15.000 EUR and an amount of Swiss francs were found and seized in different apartments and premises. 

Of the arrested persons, 11 of them were previously convicted in the field of narcotics, while another 10 were convicted of various criminal offenses. 

In addition to those arrested and declared wanted, 29 people have been processed while at large.
