Prime Minister Rama and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo attended on Monday the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Overgas and Albgaz, which aims at the diversification of gas market in Albania. 

Prime Minister's Office announced that Overgas Company has expressed interest in being supplied with gas through the Terminal that will be set up in Vlora, a project of special importance, which is becoming a reality with the most famous American companies. 

"It is a marked moment for one of our most important and strategic projects that has to do with the gasification of Albania, referring to the project of the Vlora Power Plant of the gasification part of the floating port that will be built in Vlora and definitely one step big that we are throwing turning this project from a local project to a regional project”, said the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku, during the ceremony held on this occasion.

On his part, PM Rama wrote on the social networks: "With the Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, in another important step towards fulfilling the vision Albania 2030 net energy exporter.

Gas supply through the New Terminal, which will be set up in Vlora, is already arousing multifaceted interests"
