A police officer stationed near the headquarters of Albania’s Socialist Party was engulfed in flames after protesters threw Molotov cocktails during a demonstration.

Footage shows the officer running and rolling on the ground in an attempt to extinguish the fire, before fellow officers rushed to his aid with a fire extinguisher.

The protest against the government started at 12:00 this Saturday. This is the 12th protest. Today, Democratic Party supported the protest, calling early a huge participation to remove the actual government of Edi Rama.
