The president of the Elbasan team, Arben Laze, has passed away. It is learned that Laze died as a result of a heart attack. 

Arben Laze had been hospitalized for ten days as a result of health problems he had recently displayed, while he died shortly before midnight as a result of a heart attack. 

During the presidency of Arben Laze, Elbasan managed to reach second place in the football season 2004-2005 and a year later in the season 2005-2006 was declared champion of Albania.
