The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted after the arrest of the Tirana Mayor, Erion Veliaj.

Speaking for the media, prior to the Parliamentary Session, Berisha urged the immediate resignation of Prime Minister, Edi Rama.

"We urge for the immediate resignation of Prime Minister, Edi Rama, the head of the crime pyramid. This is a criminal organisation", said Berisha.
