Albanian Woman Who Shot Greek Husband Had Criminal Records

Klodiana Çela, the Albanian who the day before injured her former Greek partner Jorgo Neos, had been convicted by a Greek court after she had repeatedly blackmailed her to get her money.

Greek media suggest that they had an affair 13 years ago, from which they also had a 13-year-old girl. The Greek ophthalmologist at the time was married to an English woman and had two children, and decided not to break up his marriage, but recognized the paternity of the girl he had with the Albanian.

After the birth of the child, Çela started blackmailing the father of her child to get money. He reported him to the police for extortion. The court decided to sentence the Albanian woman, while the Greek took the girl to his house with the English woman.

Klodiana Çela had cast doubt that her former Greek partner wanted to abuse the child and hurt him. She filed several lawsuits against the doctor however the court found her not guilty.

Yesterday, the author appeared outside the apartment of the Greek doctor, while the latter was parking the car to take with him the girl he had from the relationship with the Albanian. She approached them, pulled out her gun and shot at least 5 times at her former Greek partner injuring her in the chest and abdomen.
The gun then fell from her hands and she tried to take her daughter with her. The latter resisted by running away from their hands. During the search, police found two knives, two mobile phones and some tarot cards in her car. During her testimony, the Albanian woman told the police that she did not have the weapon with her but was attacked by the 68-year-old.

She stated that after taking the weapon from the 68-year-old and managed to shoot him. However, the daughter rejected this variant, stating: "Mom took the gun out of the bag and fired in the direction of the father", she said. The 13-year-old was sent to the juvenile department at GADA to be assisted by psychologists.
She told them she wanted to stay with her father as he had always taken care of her. Police asked the 49-year-old about her whereabouts. She said she slept in the car and often times stayed in hotels.

According to information gathered by investigators, the Albanian woman, who has already been handcuffed by the police, had thought of the attack the day before a long time ago. According to neighbors she was wandering around the neighborhood of the former partner and had recently had a quarrel with his English wife.
She came from Callafon, where she had lived for some time, and began to observe the doctor's movements without being noticed by him, as for years a court decision forbade her to approach more than 100 meters. Klodiana Çela was sometimes presented as an artist, sometimes as the heiress of a secret wealth that she claimed to have in Albania.

She tried to tarnish the image of her child's father, accusing him of conspiracy along with prosecutors, lawyers and big businessmen, who she said had all worked together to seize her secret property and her daughter. . The woman constantly called reporters complaining that she was the victim of the doctor seeking to make her story public. A person close to her told the Greek media that she had often had violent behavior towards the child and was facing psychological problems which she refused to admit.
The 68-year-old Greek is in serious condition for life. Yesterday he underwent an operation that lasted at least 8 hours and four bullets were fired from his body. His lawyer Alexandros Alexandrakis told the media that the author had constantly put pressure on his client.

5 years ago she had physically assaulted his wife. "Five years ago she attacked my client's wife in front of a child. She threw him on the floor and started kicking him in the head. "That is why he was convicted," said the lawyer.
