The Albanian Electricity Exchange, ALPEX, signed a contract worth Lek 284.65 million excluding VAT, or around Euro 2.97 million, for electronic trading and clearing platforms for the Albania-Kosova electricity markets. The company announced this link these days in the procurement system where it had previously opened the procedure.

The contract was signed on August 24 with the merger of operators Nord Pool AS, with an 85% stake, and Nord Pool European Market Coupling Operator AS, with 15%. Both companies are headquartered in Oslo, Norway.
