A new leadership change has been announced at Tirana City Hall, days after Mayor Erion Veliaj dismissed the municipality’s acting mayor, Anuela Ristani.

Eldi Hoxha, Secretary General of the Municipality of Tirana, has resigned from his position, marking another change in the city’s senior administration.

Hoxha will be replaced by Alban Dokushi, who has been appointed to serve as Secretary General of the Municipality of Tirana by Mayor Veliaj.

The decision comes after the Administrative Court ruled that Dokushi should be reinstated in his previous position.

The latest changes come amid a broader reshuffling of Tirana’s municipal leadership, following the dismissal of Ristani by Veliaj just days ago.
