Leader of Democratic Party (DP) Lulzim Basha, has addressed a message to members of the national assembly, thanking them for the commitment and dedication shown in the Democratic Party. 

Basha emphasizes that despite the pressure they had this didn't stop in their work. Basha added that the only purpose is to overthrow Prime Minister Edi Rama and strengthen the Democratic Party. 

Message of DP leader Lulzim Basha: 

Dear Members of the National Assembly, Dear Democrats! Thank you for your contribution, engagement and dedication to the future of the Democratic Party. 

I know that it has not been easy for you, I know that you have been under pressure, but better than anyone you know that here is not about the fate of an individual but for the fate of the DP. 

We need to continue our way, by understanding any of us today, all are part of our family. I have heard any critic and naturally welcome it without any prejudice because we all together have a goal, a strong democratic party and overthrow Edi Rama!

On Saturday, Lulzim Basha summoned National Assembly to strengthen his position at the helm of the Democratic Party, at a time when former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has discharged Basha through another National Assembly held on December 11, which was summoned after the gathering of signatures of 1/3 of the delegates.
