Tirana Prosecution concluded its investigations and is bringing the minor Mario Perlleshaj to trial for committing the criminal offense of Murder Under Other Qualifying Circumstances Against a Minor and Two or More Persons, to the detriment of minors Martin Cani and Luis Mecja as stipulated in Article 79 of the Criminal Code. 

"Tirana Prosecution, after a comprehensive inquiry, has finalized the investigations regarding the criminal case no. 7676, registered on 18.11.2024.

Furthermore, the prosecution has decided on the separation of the proceeding’s acts regarding the ones related to the offense of "Abuse of Office," as stipulated in Article 248 of the Criminal Code, about the actions or inadvertences of the school staff. These have been registered under a separate proceeding, and investigations are ongoing and required to establish individual accountability and specific criminal responsibility," says statement.
