Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha spoke this Sunday from Pogradec about the registration of the Democratic Party in the elections.

Berisha said that an anti-constitutional attempt is being made to exclude the main opposition force from the election in order to consolidate monism.

He said that his candidates for local elections but will lead to the overthrowing of PM Edi Rama.

"An anti-constitutional attempt is being made to exclude the main opposition force from the elections. Attempts are made to consolidate monism. In no country in the free world, such acts have not occurred. Not only will we participate in the elections with our freedom candidates, but we will go towards the overthrow of Edi Rama's monism. We believe that this enthusiasm has a main goal, the rescue of Albanian society from this wild monism that is exterminating the nation. Today, every citizen who looks around realizes with pain that 1/3 of us are no longer in Albania. Within 8 years, 937 thousand Albanians left only in the EU space. We lost 1/3 of the nation. Of this third, 80% are under the age of 30", declared Berisha.
