Burrel Prison Inmates Send Demands to Authorities after Hunger Strike

Inmates of the High Security Prison in the town of Burrell have formalized Wednesday their demands after talks with the leaders of the Institution for the Execution of Criminal Decisions.

Sources close to this institution said that after the negotiations the prisoners have channeled their requests in an official way, sending them to some responsible institutions.

It is also learned that currently only 20 of the 70 inmates who refused food continue to do so. But even these 20 prisoners are expected to return to normal today.

On Monday, the inmates of the high security prison in Burrel refused food from the institution, as they demanded an increase in the number of monthly meetings and the expansion of the family circle in meetings.

They have already sent these requests officially to the General Directorate of Prisons.
