Civil society of Albania has announced that a protest with the slogan "She was not killed by the boat, but by the state" will be held after 7-year-old Jonada Avdia was crashed to death by a speedboat operated by then-police officer Arjan Tase. 

After this serious event, civil society has announced protests on Thursday at 19:00 in front of the Ministry of the Interior. Earlier on, dismissal or resignation of Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi' General Director of State Police, Gladis Nano, as well as Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro was demanded.

This event has sparked much public anger and reaction towards the police and government, often used to depict how unsafe life is in Albania, especially when it is taken by a police officer, who is paid by the Albanians' taxes to protect, and not to kill them.
