The number of hospitalizations due to Covid-19 tripled in just one week from just three to nine. Health Ministry informed Monday that there are actually nine people hospitalized while just less than a week were three.

The number of hospitalizations increased after even the number of new infections increased with the opening of the tourist season. 

Fortunately no deaths have been recorded from Covid-19, while 35 new cases have been registered from 165 tests performed. On the bright site 141 citizens have fully recovered from the Covid-19 infection, bringing the total number of recovered to 273,262 since the beginning of the epidemic. 

"We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 165 tests were performed, of which 35 citizens tested positive with COVID19, in the following municipalities: 22 in Tirana, 4 in Durrës, 3 in Peqin, 2 citizens in Lushnje, Pogradec, 1 citizen in Himara, Korça. 
There are 685 active citizens with Covid19 across the country. Currently 9 patients are receiving treatment in COVID3 hospital. In the last 24 hours there is no loss of life with Sars-Cov2. 

141 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 273,262 since the beginning of the epidemic," the ministry informed.
