Saimir Hoxha (on the right) was the police officer of the crime investigation sector, who was killed today on the island of Lezha in line of duty, revealing that criminal groups are not sparing anyone.

The event took place this Tuesday morning in the area of Vain in Lezha, where the police officer was shot with a bullet in his heart during a field control to prevent the cultivation of narcotics. 

Police have reported that the 44-year-old, father of two children, was shot and initially injured and then died on the way to the hospital. Work is already underway to apprehend the perpetrator. Renea special forces, FNSH groups and a special investigative group from the General Directorate of State Police were sent to the scene to help the local police.
