Denion Meidani, the son of former President, Rexhep Meidani was decreed this Wednesday as new Ambassador of Albania to North Macedonia.

The President, Bajram Begaj, signed his appointment, while at the same time the actual ambassador, Fatos Reka was relieved from his duties. 

Earlier Meidani took the votes of the members of the Parliamentary Committee of Foreign Affairs. He said that as a new ambassador, he will guarantee the implementation of the agreement signed between the two countries, as he will pay attention to the law on the Albanian language and the Ohrid Agreement.
