One of the renown Albanian doctors, Drini Dobi was sent to Italy on Saturday for a specialized treatment as his health deteriorated due to Covid-19 complications this week. But his life is not at danger only by Covid-19 but even from lack of funds to pay his treatment abroad. 

His wife confirmed that Dobi must stay for weeks abroad to be treated and this requires more money to be paid but the doctors' family does not have enough to end the treatment. Since Health Ministry has not reacted yet, journalists are trying to collect enough money through a nationwide appeal. 

He could traveled abroad through a help by friends and supporters and today journalists shared his wife status for help in order to save doctors' life.

Earlier journalist, Fiori Dardha, has cast harsh criticism on government for not caring about the life of doctors, namely that of Drini Dobi.

After he was infected with coronavirus, his heath deteriorated and the immediate treatment abroad was needed, but the government could not care less, according to journalist Fiori Dardha.
