DP Strips Flamur Noka of Committee Role
Flamur Noka was dismissed as Deputy Chairman of the Security Committee. It was the chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, who announced the dismissal of Flamur Noka, Deputy Chairman of the Security Commission, and warned him of his expulsion from the Parliamentary Group.
According to the Democratic Party, the reason for this decision is because Noka is accused of turning the meeting of the steering committee into a laboratory for the production of lies to muddy the Chairman and the Democratic Party.
"These repeated slanders and fabrications damage the interest of the Democratic Party and the Democrats, shifting the attention of the opposition battle from the only opponent who is the enemy of Albania and Albanians, Edi Rama," reads the PD announcement.
This dismissal of Flamur Noka comes just one day before Sali Berisha holds the next 'Postrium' meeting with democrats in Kukës, the birthplace of Flamur Noka. Two days ago, Flamur Noka said that 80% of the membership is against Basha's decision to expel Berisha from the parliamentary group, adding that the leader of the Democratic Party is pressuring the membership not to participate in the meeting of Berisha and to do not sign for the convening of the National Assembly.
