Edi Rama to Meet Political Leaders and Ministers on Friday
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama is expected to convene the country’s regional political leaders and government ministers on Friday, August 28, sources confirmed for albaniandailynews.com
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the headquarters of the Socialist Party at 5:30 p.m.
The gathering comes shortly after a two-day meeting in Pogradec, where Rama held discussions with regional political leaders and members of his cabinet on the “Besa” and “Prania Besnike” documents. During the meeting, the government also presented the “Pasqyrë Albania” platform, designed to collect and track citizens’ complaints and concerns.
During his stay in Pogradec, Rama instructed ministers to monitor the work of the directorates under their authority on a monthly basis. He also called on the Socialist Party’s regional political leaders to increase their presence on the ground and maintain closer contact with citizens.
Friday’s meeting is expected to follow up on the priorities and instructions discussed during the Pogradec meetings.
