EU Bus Is Becoming an Interesting Place to Stay; Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted this Thursday after the Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood in the European Union, Oliver Varhelyi, agreed with the proposal of the President of the European Council, Charles Michel for the enlargement of the EU in 2030.

In a message on Facebook, Rama emphasizes that the EU bus is becoming an interesting place to stay. Among other things, Rama appreciated the contribution of Commissioner Varhelyi, adding that he never disappointed the region.

"It must be admitted that after President Michel's surprise speech at the Bled Strategic Forum, the slow EU bus is becoming an interesting place to stay even without a free seat - no doubt the passengers of the Western Balkans can endure better the length of the trip as they follow a loud conversation between the seated guys. Let's hear what's next," writes Rama.

Meanwhile, Commissioner Varhelyi writes that the European Commission has always been ready to make any proposal that would lead us to the 2030 Expansion.

"I welcome that the Council wants to finally commit and take a big step to realize the Enlargement. The European Commission has always been ready to make any proposal that would lead us towards the 2030 Enlargement", writes the commissioner.
