A foreign national has died and six others have been injured following a serious multi-vehicle collision near the entrance to the Elbasan highway in Albania.

The crash occurred at Xibrakë, at a major highway junction, where four vehicles were involved in a violent ?????? that left them severely damaged. According to initial reports, the victim was traveling in and succumbed to injuries shortly after the incident.

Emergency services responded swiftly to the scene, with a strong presence from police, firefighters, and medical teams. Rescue crews worked to extract injured from the wreckage before transporting them urgently to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim, and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
