The Balkans Blue Economy Summit, the international summit promoted within the framework of the Balkans Sea Fair (BSF) and dedicated to the sustainable development of the maritime economy, officially announces that it has been granted the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT).

This institutional recognition represents an attestation of great strategic value for the event, confirming the relevance of the topics addressed in line with the growth and enhancement policies of Made in Italy promoted by the Ministry.

MIMIT’s patronage highlights the crucial role that Italy intends to play as a bridge for economic development between the European Union and the Balkan region, fostering industrial partnerships and strategic investments oriented toward sustainability and the global competitiveness of the maritime sector.

The Themes of the Three Days Hosted within the BSF, the summit will unfold along a path structured around three strategic pillars:

• Day 1 – Ecological Transition and Marina Development: The focus of the proceedings, organized in

collaboration with Assomarinas, will be environmental sustainability, decarbonization, and strategies for the

development and upgrading of tourist port facilities and marinas. Among the panelists is Tommaso Tommasi,

Architect, Designer, CEO of Architettura Tommasi, and MIMIT consultant.

• Day 2 – Technological Innovation, Logistics, and Corridor VIII: The second day will explore the frontiers of

technological innovation applied to smart port operations, shipbuilding, and infrastructure development

opportunities linked to Corridor VIII. The conference is held under the patronage of the Propeller Club Port of

Roma and Unione Interporti Riuniti.

• Day 3 – Industrial Cooperation, Blue Careers, and Leadership: The final day will delve into business

cooperation, scientific research, training, and professional skills (Blue Careers), giving prominence to female

leadership. In the front row are the University of Durrës and Albanian vocational institutes, involved in the

Pashaliman industrial hub (Fincantieri, Leonardo, Kayo).
