Albanian State Police have issued an urgent advisory for motorists traveling toward the Shkozet area after a major warehouse fire forced the closure of key roads and disrupted traffic around the city.

Authorities said vehicle movement has been suspended on the city's ring road due to the blaze. Drivers heading toward Shkozet, the beach area via Martin Camaj Street toward Plepat, and the Kavajë–Durrës road segment are being urged to avoid these routes and use alternative roads until the situation is brought under control.

The cause of the fire remains unknown. Officials said the warehouse has sustained extensive damage, while part of the coastal city of Durrës has also been left without electricity after power was disconnected as a safety precaution.

Police, firefighters and other emergency services remain at the scene, working to contain the fire, ensure public safety and restore normal traffic as quickly as possible.

Authorities have not yet reported the cause of the blaze, and the investigation is ongoing.
