A residential building was engulfed by flames on Tuesday afternoon in Tirana, directly opposite the “Mother Teresa” Hospital.

The fire rapidly spread across a large section of the building, causing significant damage within minutes, as residents rushed to evacuate the premises.

According to initial reports and footage from the scene, firefighting teams quickly arrived to bring the blaze under control. Emergency crews used extended ladders to reach the upper floors, spraying water onto balconies and working intensively to contain the flames.

So far, no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire remains unclear as authorities continue their investigation into the incident, which severely affected the building’s exterior façade.
