Sulejman Hamza Bushati, father of former Foreign Minister of Albania, Ditmir Bushati has died on Sunday.

In a post on his Facebook page, former minister said his father died on Boston, USA, after a long battle with a serious disease.tha

"There are no words to describe the pain of a child for his parent when the guiding light is extinguished, whose love illuminates our path," Bushati said.

"The future is a promise", he often said - Bushati continued underlining this as an evidence of the optimistic spirit of the big heart that his father had.

Sulejman Hamza Bushati was the chairman of the executive committee of the popular council of the district of Shkodra during the years 1970-1974.
